Not that most of our husbands aren’t rushing home today to see the Portugal Germany game. They can always justify it by telling us how important this game is in deciding who we play next. I don’t remember soccer excitement like this since 1998 when Croatia placed third in World Cup. Just like when they played Germany last week , I have all the confidence in the work that Croatia will kick the Turks ‘guzice’…..
Can’t wait till the morning to get up and fill the cooler with drinks and ice, though honestly, I am still a little queasy when I see Grapefruit coolers since I have consumed more of them in the last 11 days then in my whole life. That’s okay, I will take one for the team.

guilty as charged! in fact kata was conceived that day in ‘98 when Croatia beat Germany! i’m sure there are many other world/euro soccer kids out there;) it’s soccer fever and you just can’t deny that!

Goran arrived home at 1:00 pm and took his position on the couch for a quick nap before the pre-game show. Men are soooo predictable.
Teta Sylvia, if Goran is just napping on the couch, I don’t believe you will be getting another little niece in Canada. Unless you were counting on Marica to provide one for you.
